Mud Racing Rules - The Rules put
in place has safety in mind first, so drivers please note.
SPEEDING IN THE PIT AREA WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE
DISQUALIFICATION. ANY DRIVER OBSERVED CONSUMING ANY FORM OF
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE WILL BE FACE DISQUALIFICATION AND MAY NOT
BE PERMITTED TO RETURN. PLEASE do not make us enforce these
rules. We want to keep pleasant atmosphere and maintain the
best possible relationship between our staff, drivers and
spectators.

Any Changes made to the rule book will be noted with

RULES WILL BE STRICTLY Enforced

Enter at your own risk. Not responsible for Accidents,
injury, or damage to personal properties.
-
No Alcoholic beverages, or glass containers allowed.
-
Track officials can refuse any entry at their own
discretion, at any time.
-
Track officials must approve any modifications not
listed in these rules.
-
Seatbelts, and Helmets are required in all classes.
Helmets must be worn until the pass is complete. Five
point harness, neck brace, and fire retardant suits are
highly recommended, but not required unless specified
hereafter.

Roll bars are recommended in street stock class, but are
mandatory in all other classes.
-
All batteries are to be securely fastened, enclosed, and
covered if located in the cab, or bed of vehicle.
-
Any objects or trash, such as cans, cups, wrenches, or
miscellaneous things of any nature will cause a
disqualification for that pass only. (Items that fall
off due to breakage are exempt, drive shaft, mud flaps,
Etc.) It is the driver's sole responsibility to make
sure there are no loose items on or in the vehicle that
may fall out during their run that would cause
disqualification.

No passengers allowed in pro-modified stock. One
passenger may ride in all other classes after obtaining
permission from track officials first, and a signing of
a release waver.

All race vehicles must have a driver in the seat while
the engine is running.
-
No careless, or fast driving allowed in the pits, or
return lanes. NO EXCEPTIONS. Violators will be
disqualified for race entered, and loss of any points
for that race.

Drivers, and passengers must sign a release form.
-
All vehicles must be ready to stage in the order drawn
when their class is called.
-
All vehicles have the option of taking a five-minute
cool down, or break down period. The next vehicle in
line will be given the option to run. You cannot call
both break down, and cool down at the same time.
-
If radiators are installed inside the passenger
compartment they must provide protection for driver, and
or passenger against radiator failure
Safety Inspection
-
A tech line will be set up at each race.
-
All vehicles must be driven, or towed to the line prior
to race. (Not on a trailer.)
-
All Vehicles are subject to a spot check by officials at
any time.
Measuring and Timing
-
If a racer fails to receive a time due to timing light
malfunction, he or she will immediately run again before
the next vehicle. A five-minute cool down will be
allowed.
-
All vehicles go forward until forward progress stops. Do
not back up unless asked by the official or you be
disqualified for that run only.
-
Vehicles will be measured at the centered of the front
hub.
-
If a vehicle runs out of the pit during the run, it will
be measured from the point of exit, but not
disqualified.
-
If a vehicle turns over during a run, it will be
measured from the furthest hub (or where the vehicle
exits the pit) from the starting line.
-
There must be no less than three trucks entered to make
a class. If there are less than three trucks entered,
you can be bumped up to the next class. You can only
move up a class, but never down.
Winners of pit classes will be determined by the following
-
The total distance of two runs will determine winners.
-
If only one vehicle breaks the light in one of the
passes, they will be declared the winner of that class
automatically, but must break the starting line on the
second pass for points.
-
If two or more vehicles break the light on only one
pass, everything goes back to distance traveled.
-
If two or more vehicles break the light on both passes,
then the fastest time of the two passes will determine
the winner.
Street Stock Class
-
Body and frame must be factory stock. (No cutting, or
gutting.)
-
Must have current license, and proof of insurance.
-
36” D.O.T. tires, and lower. (No Modified, or cut
tires.)
-
No after market Ignition, intakes, fuel pumps, and no
Axle, or engine swaps allowed.
-
Brakes must work.
-
Must wear seat belts, and helmet.
-
All general safety rules apply.
Hobby Class
-
All D.O.T. highway approved tires are ok. No modified,
or cut tires.
-
Must pull 18 inches of vacuum @ 1000 rpm. (Must have a
¼” nipple that is accessible to attach a vacuum gauge)
-
Must have factory engine blocks, and cylinder heads.
Engine swaps are ok only with the same number of
cylinders, make, and model.
-
Aluminum intakes with single carburetors are ok. (No
alcohol, nitrous, or after market turbo’s, or blowers
allowed.)
-
After market ignitions with Rev, limiter are ok. ( No
stutter boxes, electronic timing controls allowed.)
-
After market headers are ok. (No up drafts through the
hood. Must have pipe past the driver door opening.)
-
Must have seat belts, and helmet.
Modified Class
-
Body and frame must be factory. (Minor trimming, and
rear fender will be ok, but inner fenders must be
retained.
-
Factory suspension; Lift kits are ok. Drivers option to
run straight front axle with coil, or leaf springs,
-
Tires must be D.O.T. approved. Cut tires allowed, but
tires must retain 50% of original tread with 44” tire
limit. Cutting every other lug nut is allowed. No paddle
tires of any sort will be allowed.

Single corroborators; after markets are ok. After market
in-takes are ok. If gas tanks are mounted in a truck
bed, it must be mounted away from the exhaust; also gas
tanks must be secured, and covered with some type of
matt!!!! Battery may be relocated, but must be secured,
and covered. (NO BUNGEE CORDS.)

Engine swaps are ok. No aluminum heads, or blocks.
-
Engines must pull 15” of vacuum @ 800 rpms. ¼ “ nipples
must be in a place that is easily accessible to hook up
a gauge without removing any parts.
-
Open headers, and up drafts are optional.
-
No timing devices.
-
If installing a different block, radiator can be moved
closer to the front. Radiator, and motor mount can be
relocated to match installment. Firewall can be
modified, but kept in its original position; Front and
rear end swaps are ok.
-
Electronic fuel pumps are allowed.
Super Modified
-
Body must be complete, other than items listed, Dash,
front-inner fenders, hood bracing, tailgate, door
panels, all glass, original seats, floor mats/ padding,
hood hinges, windshield frames that can be unbolted, and
bumpers. Radiator may be mounted in the rear of truck.
Battery may be mounted in rear of truck if they are
secured, and covered.

No Coil over suspension. Air shocks are ok, but must
retain spring leaf.
-
Aluminum heads, and blocks are ok, but cannot exceed 650
cubic inches.
-
Tires must be D.O.T. approved. Cut tires are allowed.
Tires must retain 50% of original tread with 44” tire
limit. Cutting every other lug is allowed. No paddle
tires of any sort will be allowed.
-
Multi carburetors are allowed. Any cam, exhaust, and
intake may be used. NO NITROUS, or HOOK UPS ALLOWED No
injection! Any other fuel as long as it is in the gas
tank. This is subject to be checked by the track
officials, or owner.

Engine swaps are ok. Engines may be moved 6”from the
manufactures Specifications. Firewall may be modified to
accommodate the move. I.E. a Hole may be cut for
distributor, and build box around it. Firewall must be
retained. No engines may be relocated to the rear of the
truck.

After market transfer cases are not allowed. Must be
factory type.
-
Truck must have fully accessible front and back
for pull out. Clevis, or chain if mounted securely, and
large enough to penetrate.
-
Electric fuel pumps are allowed.
New 89
Special Class (Drop in/Drop Out)
1.
Must pull 15” vacuum at 1200 RPM
2.
Engine and axle swaps allowed – No aluminum block allowed
3.
(I.e. Chevy engine in Ford bodies allowed)
4.
Any intake allowed
5.
Headers permitted – up or down
6.
No NOS – blower’s – turbo’s – or superchargers allowed
7.
Aftermarket ignition and MSD allowed – No studder boxes
8.
Any Single carburetors allowed except alcohol and nitro

Multiple carburetors prohibited.

Transbrakes or electric transmission controls prohibited
-
Body and frame modifications allowed
-
Frame stretches allowed - No tube frames

Any suspension allowed – coil over’s allowed

Must have complete firewall

Race fuel only - No alcohol fuel

All DOT and cut tires allowed under 40” – No paddle

You may not move from your class except to 89 Special
Class. If not listed in rules you must ask staff. All
decisions are final.
Outlaw Class
